Margate Media Centre Chargeable Services

The following services are available to licensees and are discretional, according to use:

Telephones

All licensees are required to use the Centre’s telephony system. Lines are provided to the Centre via ISDN 30. The operating system is a Voice-over-IP solution that also provides capabilities for analogue devices such as fax machines. This system requires only one cable to connect the telephone and the user’s PC to the network. Licensees will therefore be restricted to Mitel VoIP handsets, which can be rented from the Centre for the duration of their occupancy. Prices can be provided on request.

Each extension is a DDI line (Direct Dial In).
The Centre has a call management system installed that will monitor and report on calls made from each extension. A monthly invoice will be provided for calls made, charged at standard BT rates, for each extension.

Charges:

• Installation charge per line/extension – (one off charge) £25.00
• Rental for each line/extension – (per month) £5.00
• Rental for fax line (per month) £10.00

Faxes

Faxes can be sent and received by the Centre’s office.The following rates are applicable:

Cleaning

Cleaning of individual offices can be arranged, please contact reception office for further details.

Secretarial Services

The Centre can offer secretarial services to licensees including word processing, personalised mail shots, reports, spreadsheets and organisation of meetings, conferences and exhibitions at a cost of £8.00 per hour.

Photocopying

Photocopying facilities for tenants are available in the Centre’s reception office.

A4 paper (double sided) 10p per copy

Value Added Tax

The licence fee and all chargeable services are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate and shown on the monthly invoices.

Internet Access

The Kent Innovation Centre provides high speed broadband Internet access for licensees using two leased lines (4Mbps upstream/downstream) in conjunction with Entanet.

Internet access (no email) £100 per annum per user

Anti Virus

All Licensees must have a TDC approved anti virus software package installed on all servers and desk top PCs’ prior to connection to the network.
